The National Events Manager role for this not-for-profit, is responsible for strategically developing and executing the National Events and Education program that delivers events that ensure events stand out and provide best value and quality for members.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the national Events and Education team by creating an environment of leadership, having a safe space for the team, and creating opportunities for individuals to develop their skills.

  • Create and deliver a high quality and diverse calendar of events and educational programs that meet member needs nationally, enhance the image of the business and provide professional development and networking opportunities for attendees.

  • Engage with external providers OR deliver in-house accredited training to give members access to the best courses in the industry.

  • Develop commercial partnerships for event specific sponsorship opportunities.

  • Lead the National Summit end-to-end.

  • Ensure local needs of members across the country are taken into account when planning and executing events and educational programs.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners in aged care.

  • Maintaining an aged care leadership role among peak employer groups through effective and highly regarded events and educational programs.

  • Keep abreast of the events and education industry nationally (both within and external to the aged and community care sector), ensuring the business’s events are competitive against other events and deliver the professional development members need.

  • Provide input into regular member surveys, utilising feedback provided to deliver quality events.

  • Undertake thorough planning and co-ordination of all aspects of business events and education to ensure they meet industry needs and are professionally marketed, organised, conducted and evaluated.

  • Ensure administration of events and educational programs meets internal and external standards with regards to record keeping, financial records and contractual arrangements.

  • Promoting the employer’s services to members and non-members, identifying potential new members and "soft selling" at meetings, conferences, seminars and other appropriate gatherings.

  • Research and implement best suited technology and social media platforms specifically for events and educational programs.

  • Planning, developing and maintaining the electronic membership database to suit the Events and Education service and document all member interactions, leading by example for the rest of the Events and Education team.

  • Implement a quality system and engage in continuous improvement processes within all above objectives.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Excellent personal presentation and professional image.

We have an exciting role for a Mid - Senior Event Producer to join a savvy, boutique agency based in Melbourne — with a soon to be opened Sydney office. This role will enable the right candidate to work with leading local and global brands within a passionate team.

As a Event Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of impeccable quality events to high profile clients. You will be required to oversee event production, planning and logistics along with development of creative ideas to execute on behalf of the agency biggest events.

Your previous experience (of at least 6 years), will include the production of large scale events, client relationships, budget management and flawless administration skills. In addition to event management skills the ideal candidate will have proven ability to manage and motivate a young and vibrant organisation.

If you like a challenging and busy environment, then this role will suit you. You need to be organised and a step ahead, however also have the ability to be flexible when required and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
